Mortal Engines
This is the most interesting looking upcoming movie adaptation I've seen in a while:

Re: Mortal Engines
Oh man. I read a bit of the first book forever ago. Concept intrigued me, but the books just didn't keep me reading. A movie however I am excited for.
Hey, does anyone remember that old Mortal Engine themed forum battle that someone (TBD?) did forever ago?

If you mean the PARV, no. This was a forum battle, part of the early waves of them. I'll dig through the forum and see if I can find it.TheVengefulOne wrote:The one with the giant tan crawler thing being attacked by a bunch of smaller vehicles?dilanski wrote:Oh man. Re: Mortal Engines
I love the concept from this universe, too, so I'm likely to see it in theaters. BUT... I also sort of expect Peter Jackson will produce a bloated CGI snoozer a la The Hobbit trilogy.
I make apocalypses and apocalypse accessories.
