How do I.............

So, maybe this is just me, but sometimes, people don't give a lot of feedback or advice around here. There are a couple things I still want to do, my procrastination hasn't won out quite yet! However, I find it hard to tell what people think, or what people want to have happen. I've tried looking at the views different things have, but if it's around long enough, it gets quite a few views.
How do I tell what people want and deliver. Delivery isn't that hard, figuring out what they want is. For me personsly, if I don't have a direction, I just do whatever, and occasionally, something cool comes out of it, but I won't post if people aren't in the mood, because then I won't be in the mood.
Essentially, How Do I Brikwar.
(350 posts in 3 months, and I haven't figured it out.

Step 1: Make some kreations or some minifigs
Step 2: Take photos
Step 3: Put them on this website

I've been here since 2013 and I still haven't even started on step one.

Speaking as someone who has run 24 chat battles so far, among other soaps, forum battles, battle reports, and brikfics, this is pretty much spot on. Make some lego, take pics, post them.
If you want to run battles then read the rulebook and either hop on the chat and wait for players or post a sign-up thread. Chat and forum battles are run by collecting orders by chat or forum PM, then playing the turn and taking pics and posting the results, and continuing until someone wins or people get tired of it.

Same as anything else in life. Dig into the things you're excited about, not the things you think other people are excited about. No amount of other people's borrowed enthusiasm will be enough to see you through to the end of a project. It's either something you're into or it isn't, and the audience can tell.

Whaaaaaat!?
Bro, as others have suggested, you're gonna be unhappy and dissatisfied if you're constantly concerned with pleasing others. This isn't show Blitzen, distinguished Owner of the English Language, so there's no money, therefore we only do this stuff for love of the hobby. Tell the stories you want to see told, not that you think the masses of Brikwars (blech) will like. Anyone who likes it, likes it, and anyone who doesn't, well...
I will give you a tip though; talk less and show more with your content. You'll fascinate people with your stuff much more with pictured stories/battles than walls of text.
