I'm actually shocked Disney is doing this, they're the ones that pulled the plug on it in the first place. I guess they're finally starting to listen to their fans.

From the interview with Dave Filoni it seem like they brought it back because of how much everyone liked TCW. Hopefully the episodes will wrap up the story like he wanted to originally.

Eh, I was kinda overdosed with TCW already. I thought there had been enough stuff as it is, but I guess you'll have to get a closure with Ahsoka even though she already had one with that "the jedi are all idiots" episode.

I think in general there's an over-saturation of Star Wars media going on. There are people who can't ever get enough obviously but to me the more there is of something the less special its individual components become.

They probably pulled it to drive up appetite for the movies, which are the real moneymakers. There's an art to scheduling which types of media you give to fans at which point in the hype cycle, and which you take away.

I'm so glad I scored the first 5 seasons last month! This is going to be great!

Aww man, this brings back memories of 13 year old me. I was hyped for every episode of the first season as they came. Also helped the lego sets accompanying it were pretty damn swish. Kind of lost interest between the first and second seasons as I moved onto other series.

Dude, you should watch the rest of it, it gets much better after the second season.

If I were to recommend the series, I'd praise its clones' portrayal (even though I liked republic commando version of clones better), but not Maul's. To me, Maul not saying a single word was the main reason for me to enjoy him. In TCW he just never shuts up. But that's because I had to compare that Maul to Maul from comics and books where he's literally a nobody with some daddy issues in regards to Palpatine.
Dunno, making him another sith craving for POWAAAHHHH has done him more harm than good imo, though I appreciate the fact his canon story is now that expansive.

Maul pulling off a 'Jeremiah Gottwald' and just surviving 'cos the fans think he's cool is still one of the biggest jokes to me...
