So, I've been thinking about doing a D&D session with custom rules and lore on one of the discord servers, and I was wondering who would be interested
I will work on the lore and stuff if people want to play
A short summary of the story:
Since the dawn of time, the realm of men, (and maybe other stuff) has been plagued by wars and catastrophes, and a group of immortal heroes from another plane of existence must descend down to the mortal realms and beat up anyone who threatens their values.
Unbeknownst to them, over time, each of these heroes have accumulated a strange cult following based on their past actions, and when a mysterious figure known only as "The Empress" starts conquering the kingdoms, the heroes spring to action.
But will their unexpected worshipers help them along the way, or just be morons obsessed with sacrificing babies and alike... probably a bit of both.!

{Similar to intelligence, but used for magic and nature stuff}
PERSUASION-
{This one is very important if you want your worshipers to listen you, or your listeners to worship you}

General disposition:
How your character has treated mortals:
How your character has acted on the mortal plane:
{did they share their power, torment the mortals, or get it on with anything that moved?}
Morals Your character has tried to impose on the mortals:
{i.e. duty, honor, drunkenness, polygamy, etc.}
Past adventures:
{optional, but this can really help flesh out your character, and shape how your followers would act}
Special Skills:
{Flight, leadership, the ability to turn someone inside-out with only a wooden spoon and some lubricant, etc.}
Do’s and Don'ts
Allowed Character types/abilities:
-Angels
-Animals
-magic*
{Magic is constrained to powers that can create energy in certain amounts, this may sound constricting, but if you have a decent scientific understanding of all the cool stuff you can do}
-Humans
-Weaponry up to 19th century
-hybrid of 2 races
-Medicine {a.k.a Healing}
Not Allowed Character Types/Abilities
-Daemons
-Orcs, ogres, trolls, goblins, ents, elves, dwarves, and other Tolkien-esque fantasy races
-OP magic. {Your skills are OP enough as it is, you don’t need much in the way of magic to cement your rule over the peasant masses.}
-Derailing the chat. This will result in a ban
