Is this normal?
I've been getting this screen on and off for quite a while now. It pops up randomly on web pages that I have had pulled up for some time (probably around 15 minutes), it says that it is "Windows Defender Browser Protection", but I know that this is a scam, I mean, isn't it kind of obvious? Look at that grammar; look at that phone number (it has been called by my friend and no one answered); just the whole thing reeks of horribly put together scam. Has anyone else been getting this?

Every time I see one of my posts (or signatures (including this one)), I nearly die of cringing.
You know, the word cringe is pretty cringy.
Is it cringy or cringey? Why are they both marked as misspelled? Or is it misspelt?

Re: Is this normal?
I had a full screen popup happen a few months ago.
I never clicked on it, closed my browser, shut down my computer, restarted.
Ran Avast scanner, didnt find anything.
Never happed again.
I was following a link from a forum I use to a news site that seemed normal.
Maybe you clicked on the first one, so now its just putting them up at random.
There are phone numbers that will charge your phone whatever they want.
don't call scam numbers.

Yeah I would've never called that number. I haven't had this pop-up since I scanned my computer last and had 2 threats dealt with.
Hopefully it won't return any time soon.

I like to call those scam hotlines And play ram ranch on full blast through my phone, but I don’t really think that’s directly related too your problem.
