I kinda miss the days with less special peices where arrangement and alsignment was what made something unique
no a specail peice only useable for the item it was enginnered for.

If you can only find one use for a piece, you're not a true Lego builder.

BULLFUCKINGSHIT! No such thing, this is Lego. The only limit is the imagination of the builder. I see nothing to convince me to see it in any other way.

The drill parts are pretty useful, you can use them as engines or do like this guy did and use them for Mecha.
(saw this thing at Brickfair and its sick in real life

)
Been here longer then pretty much all of you or some shit.

I mean the drill bit on the end. It has very limited purpose and usage.

I have already seen MOCs using many of these parts. The real issue is, can you get past what you see and find more uses for them.
On Topic: I just picked up the 2010 Kingdom's Advent Calendar. They are going fast so if you are in the US I would say go get yours fast.
Here is a review that shows all the bits:

Lego themselves have used it as a Mecha weapon. I imagine it it could be used as the back of an engine in either a microscale spaceship or a minifigure scale fighter. I could also see it used as part of some SciFi mechine (say on top of a box and run a cable out the top to another machine. That is just off the top of my head. I am sure if you put your mind to it you could come up with more.
Now I do agree, some parts are more useful then others, but I have yet to see a Lego part that was really only a single use part.

Looks to me like it could be a nice stalagmite or stalactite. The blue version could be a water effect or the end of a vuvuzela.

Good?
Yeah, that was the only example I could find off the top of my head, sorry mates. I actually have plans to use it as a missile.
