Space Marines?

Well, this is almost like the dilemma I faced while attempting to make a Tau Brikwars force. The pauldrons that Games Workshop produces CAN be used on minifigs, they are the correct size (provided there's some armor, otherwise it's just ridiculous). The helmet would indeed take some mental acuity, but to SOME of us here that's no problem. Jetpacks would be easy, as was stated, and I think the decals should take care of themselves through a combination of homemade and GW waterslide transfer sheets.

... Anything I'm forgetting?

well when i was lookin around on brickshelf the other day, I found a decent
way to make the pauldrons and the breating aparatus.

I think It'd be funny if someone posted a decal that said: "I am a space marine" onto every space marine minifig's torso, and didn't bother with armor.

Great idea, young'n. You should send that to Saber-Scorpion. Much better than wastin' time with all that armor.

I can vouch for this. He's not into the kind of "Extreme Fantasy" that he believes Warhammer falls into.

Of course, given enough money he might be willing to consider a custom decal job. I wouldn't bet on it though.

I do like the "I am a Space Marine!" sticker idea though =P

There aren't motors in power weapons, they have force field generators built into them.

I think it would be ossum if we could find a way to make decent lego chainsaws swords. The regular saws don't work for me. Also, it'd be cool to make a giant saw vehicle, like a drilling machine but with a saw instead of a drill. Hay, you want motorized swords, you gotta love chainsaw swords.
