So to entertain myself during the silent moments of the day, I've got two LEGO app games installed (hey, gotta keep with the theme) which are LEGO Tower (real pointless time-waster) and LEGO Legacy which is a typical RPG app game. The thing is, for what is pretty much a cash grab/fishing-for-whales game it has a surprisingly good plot. The characters act pretty BrikWars-like at times, I found this little side-plot a fantastic example of what I'm talking about.

Out of all the app games I've played, so far this one's lasting the longest. Only annoying part is the paywall, where progress grinds down to a halt and I'm just forced to slowly level/gear up my minifigs before they can take on the next challenge.

Personally I'm more interested in the spaceships behind Kai. Those are from one of the old space themes! Might have been Insectoids, but damn they don't make them like they used to.

Speaking of BrikWarsy stuff in official Lego games, one of the Lego Island games had a mission that was something like: "Oh no! The bridge between the Lions and the Bulls has been destroyed by a storm and they can't fight each other! That's terrible!" Even as a kid I thought it was pretty funny.

Would it be possible to have some recommendations from anybody here? We just got a Switch 2 days ago and decided to buy Animal Crossing so far. Also, thank you OP for making this thread.

I don't own a Switch, so I can't really advise you. It seems there's a lot of Mario-focused games on it, not sure if those are your thing. There's also a version of Pokémon you can play on it.

I got you fam:
Must-haves:
- Mario: Odyssey
- Zelda: Breath of the Wild
Solid Titles:
- Super Smash Bros Ultimate
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
- Luigi's Mansion 3
More fringe suggestions include:
- Doom
- Doom Eternal
- Dark Souls Remastered
I'm not sure what types of games you're looking for, but you should really consider getting the must-haves as your next games. Those two are THAT good.
I also know that I'm missing other good stuff, but that's what I could think of off the top of my head.

In my opinion Super Smash Bros and Mario Kart also count as must-haves if there's more than one person playing.

They're very very good, but the other two...
