Up for a game of Brikwars, should we be able to find some open floor space?

No way am I going to Chicago. I would, but that's a long drive just for a Lego convention.

I am, however, going to go to my first ever Lego Store this summer on my way to Massachusetts.

It is...

The one in Natick I believe. Either that one or the one in Braintree. Me and a couple friends are planning a trip over to Massachusetts this summer for Warped Tour '09 and I thought it would be cool to stop there on the way back.

It's gonna be a fun weekend. Leave the day before Warped Tour and spend the day in Salem, go to a hotel, go to Warped Tour all the next day, go back to the hotel, go back home the next day and stop at the Lego Store on the way back.

Braintree??

*google check*

Hey they just opened that in september! I was thinking the closest was Burlington which is like an hours drive. Braintree is 20 minutes, nice :)

FUCK YEAH, WARPED TOUR!

This year's line up looks like it's the best one in a couple years.

It looks pretty darn good. I went the last two years (sadly I had to leave before Coheed & Cambria played two years ago, and that's who I went for, haha). This year I'm looking forward to (more than the rest, anyway):

Bayside
Bouncing Souls
Chiodos
I Set My Friends On Fire
Scary Kids Scaring Kids
Silverstein
Streetlight Manifesto
The Devil Wears Prada
Thrice
And Underoath.

Also there's a band called Allura that will most likely be playing, but they're smaller, so not listed.

Gonna be a good one.

Nice. The big ones for me are

Alexisonfire
Big D and the Kids Table
Scary Kids Scaring Kids
Senses Fail
Silverstein
Streetlight Manifesto
The Devil Wears Prada
Thrice
Underoath

I'm probably going to be shitting bricks with excitement for AoF, Big D, and Underoath (probably Thrice, too, but I just saw them in October).

Yea, I'm really excited about Thrice. They're just amazing.

I've seen the majority of the other bands on there, so they aren't as exciting. Big D is fun live.

I really wish Family Force 5 was playing again though. I watched them the past two years and they were easily the best band to watch whether they were my favorite music-wise or not.

Anyone going to BrickCon 09 in Seattle? I am. It totally owns Brickworld.
I think those stats only apply to non-Mexicans.

That's even farther away.

I would love to go to both though?

Living in Wisconsin, I've always considered being at one of the Chicago ones. Anyone got some date and place info? Or a shiny website with both?
