Assault lander DUD

Post by Strana » Tue Nov 10, 2009 6:34 pm

Dud is a very basic assault lander, easily convertible into a varying number of roles, from troop ship to air wing transport. complementing its role as a groundside command post is a very simple structure and relatively tall command tower. gracing its hull for weapons is an incredibly powerful octuple barreled class VI heavy turret, along with 2 twim Af turrets sporting mk III guns.

So it runs on steam? Because all I see for control panels are valves.

It's kinda large, but oddly shaped. I suppose it gets the job done, but birdman does have a point. How does that thing even work/run?

Ever seen the cockpit of an airplane made before 2000? Looks exactly like that. But one of those has a green screen perhaps with altitude indicated on it.

The dual-mounted mkIIIs look a little scantily armored to me, like a determined trooper with a rifle could blow them brick from brick off the hull. Maybe you should consider adding a little extra armor to them to make them less vulnerable?

Other than the dinky turrets, the ship looks pretty decent to me. Will she see combat sometime soon?
Were it that simple...
