wow thats cool um.... Roc, Dr.x and Natalya you interested in say a build off? i did a three way one a long time ago before any of you guys with Blitzen, distinguished Owner of the English Language and piltogg. Any way it was a lot of fun and i figured now that we got some hight class builders we can do another one. I was thinking it whould be the top 4 builder here lest top 4 that i can think of Dr.x (probley the best or at lest the only person who can take pictures

) Roc Natalya and me we whould have a few mounths to build one thing all that rule stuff we can figure out later if you guys decied to any way if any of you want to just post or Pm me

sorry about duble posting but i just founf this

if the AC uses energy at a faster rate, the charge held by the generator is depleted. If the energy produced by the generator is depleted past the generator's red zone it immediately shuts off all other high-energy dependent functions and recharges, leaving the AC very vulnerable. Recharging ACs cannot use their boosters or energy weaponry until the generator has completely recharged, and in battle up to a minute without weapons or mobility

when an AC becomes overheated the radiator begins sucking massive amounts of energy from the AC's generator to cool down the core. This can quickly deplete its energy supply and leave it vulnerable

This might help all you guys out

This might help all you guys out

Just redirect the heat to something else, like a gun, boosters, or even just down to the legs, blowing out the body of the feet to make movement easier.

An energy-free AC can still use solid shell weaponry. Karasawa'd be out of the picture, but missiles and grenade launchers wouldn't.

and hot air rises so to sending it out the feet would use tons of energy!

well i decided instead of building something to combat this mecha thing i would just build one of them. so right now i got 90% of the head done and will probably have the whole thing done in 1-2 months once i get some progress done i'll post pics

Thx, it's my first so it's a bit of trial and error... Actually it is really stable, the ankle is fixed but the back knee & hip are movable so it can really walk. The only problem I have is the weight, it can support a light chassis, but I'm going for a medium size AC, but proper reinforcement should fix that. Hopefully it'll be 2/3 the size of yours when I'm done.

when the whole mech is hot it will take a very longtime to cool down so you need fans to remove the hot air.

while heat can be used as a energy source its highly inaficant and produces lots of excess heat (steam engines are great excamples of the inaficancy) and by using heat to remove heat you hit a ploblem you now have to produce more heat to remove the same heat!

(note that temprature is a measurement of heat)
