Well, let me try to figure out the max armor for the Armored Core. I'm assuming Natalya, because it's so big, will do armor values for the head, torso, arms, and legs separately. We'll just do the torso now. So the torso will be a foot to a foot and a half I'm guessing, so even at minimum, that's 12d10 base armor, not counting what else she wants to add.lrdofbricks wrote:i prefer an army of kamikaze heavy bombers suach as hailfires this 8 rockets to one vehicle. i know the armored core is big but if i unload 24 rockets on it i think it may fall. or i will resort to modern tactics opf my army: fire it from so many different points you can't kill them fast enough. ex. a full rush of 306 minifigs and about 40 small artillary and 3 big artillarys.

Wait what? no no no, you're calculating vehicle armor all wrong!
Armor strength is dependant upon materials. 5d10 is super, stupidly strong crap, and 1d6 is flesh and the like. An AC would have somewhere around 3-4d10 armor.
Size is only to calculate how many points of structure damage something can take before it's totaled.

Well the thickness of those armour plates on the core as you have already seen is 2 1/3 bricks thick stacked vertically, and they're made out of metal, so I'd say either 4 D10 or 5 D10. My cruiser only gets 3 D10 because its walls are thin, typically only 1 brick thick. Strong material, but no thickness. This thing's got both so it's more. Maybe the arms would be less because their plating is not as substantial.

i would still give this 6d10 as i classify this as a "super weapon"
basically the armour is as thick as a tank turret so you would need another super weapon to take it out. (legs and arms should be 5 and i don't think armoured core heads do anything.)
btw i think you should be able to shoot the gun seeing as it is also used as a shield (plus it's big enough)

The front end of my Boar tank has only 4d10 armor, and is more than 5 bricks thick
5d10 armor is considered "invincible" armor. Something that is retardedly strong, and then blessed by gods, and then triple-layered is what 5d10 armor is supposed to represent. 4d10 armor is what I'm gonna recommend you.

It COULD have a max of 12d10 armor though. I was just showing Warman that he couldn't tell how well he would do against Natalya's Armored Core until the stats were made.IVhorseman wrote:Wait what? no no no, you're calculating vehicle armor all wrong!

Armor is based upon the material, like it says in the rulebook, but it is limited by size. You can only have 1d10 per 1".

This is were battle armor comes in, jump onto the arms, stick a gun right on the joints(auto hit for inanimate object) and start blasting away.NatalyaAF wrote:Well the thickness of those armour plates on the core as you have already seen is 2 1/3 bricks thick stacked vertically, and they're made out of metal, so I'd say either 4 D10 or 5 D10. you could give it 12d10 armor but 24 rockets luanched simultansuoly will still break it like a pinata. but it will probably kill htem first. im not trying to belittle the armored core i personally think it is the coolest thing I've seen in brikwars (except for the cruiser, but thats becuase the cruisers finished.) good job Natalya.

The problem with this bomb is that they know how to detonate it, though they can't think of a way to transport or launch it.
I know it looks like a building, but I asked my engineers to make something big and powerful and this is what came out of their scientist minds.
