Not sure how well MKI bazookas will fare against an AC... you might have better luck using them on her tanks and aircraft, while saving the big guns for the AC. That's actually a pretty good idea, since it will be harder for her heavy guns to hit rocket-wielding infantry than heavy vehicles.

MK-I rockets will probably fail to damage it. Its armour varies depending on the component you're aiming at, but the lowest it goes is level 2. A MK-I rocket doesn't have good chances against that. Save those for soldiers.

If it were my battle, MK-I explosives would figure pretty heavily into my strategy. Natalya's got the heavy weapons to destroy any large targets I might offer, so I'd want to keep my forces small and dispersed to limit the effectiveness of her superweapons.

Individually, d10's have a pretty good chance of doing successful Grinding Damage to wear down the armor leading up to a main attack; following up with Combined Fire from several rocketeers (or stickybombers) working in concert, they should be able to punch through the armor rating.

The problem then is that the AC is so large that attacking forces would have to successfully pull this off dozens of times in order to wear down the mech through Size damage; so they're stuck gunning for Component Damage instead. At that point it's all about identifying weak points to take out as quickly as possible. Knees are a classic target, although with the fusion thruster backpack a loss of legs probably wouldn't hamper it too much (although I seem to remember the stats for the jetpack right now are far outside of BrikWars' thoeretical maximum speed for some reason). Elbows would be better, since its most obvious heavy weapons require the use of hands to operate, but the elbows aren't always within easy range of the foot soldiers. A funny strategy would be to try and break it in half at the waist, one inch at a time; another would be to focus all fire on the cockpit to try and take out the pilot.

Thought about strategies for minifig armies to use against very large mocs? Yeah, that's why chapter 7 turned out the way it did. Thought about taking on the armored core specifically, not a whole lot really. A little bit.

Not outside the 2001 rules' maximum, though. Although giving the AC 24" of move on its legs seems wildly unfair. I mean, that's faster than even my hover tanks.

Well TBH I haven't actually done any calculations for the AC on ANYTHING except for what areas get what armour level, but I didn't think that move to be unfair because if you consider the size of the legs, you'll find that moving 24" is only about 3 paces.

James+burgandy will have to have some pretty long range explosives for this. It's going to be 9 inches us to just the thing's knees, he's going to have to have rocket launchers with at least 20 inch range.

Well, we're not putting a CP limit on this I don't think so he can prettymuch buy whatever he thinks he needs.

well in that case, he should get a bunch of 20-blok boulders and a mkV mass driver. that will put a world of hurt on the AC.

I think his problem is that he simply does not have enough spare bricks to build any creations like that. Cpt. Halan may join the battle though, and if he did he would probably be forced to side with J+B out of the sake of fairness. But then again this is Brik Wars and we don't care about "fair" here.

Natalya, 2 things
1: it's cpl. or corporal, not captain
2: that's only gonna happen if you people fight in or near maryland(preferably at a WAMALUG meeting)
