I have this strange reaction with anything plastic in my mouth, where I just get this feeling to barf.

Happens with Lego, My retainer, other peoples miniatures, use your imagination.

Besides, worse use of Lego license was Galidor, definitely.

the entire galidor line sucked,

...uh...I actually dedicated a 750 piece of tooth picks just for chewing so I don't chew on...anything...I've always gotta chew...and..lego's...ohh tehy're just perfect..especially the lances..tehy're so long.and smooth..in my mouth......so sexual....nom nom nom....
