No peaches here. Mainly because most of my LEGO is around 20 years old, Brikwars is a recent venture for me, and when you chaps were buying Star Wars sets and whatnot I was eBaying for Transformers.
CONGRATULATIONS - you just WON The Game FOREVER. Or you can carry on being a humourless nugget - your call.

quite simple. Us collecters whose minifig count number in the hundreds or thousands, have disciplined ranks of identical grunts. all yellow, because lego has been doing yellow for a while. But suddenly we buy a set and we have different color guys! Our identical formations are shattered! Building up your army more means buying only select (non-liscense) sets, while great sets are off the list because they have peaches in them (SW, IJ)muffinmanifestation wrote:Why do you hate peaches so much?
Basically, they stand out and ruin our armies. And more people just want a chance to saughter someone, and if they are different, some people see that as a reason to kill them. But try lining up 9 yellow guys and one peach, identical but for skin. It looks horrible. They are just wierd, they stand out, and I think thats a good reason to hate them.

Only now that we have a word for it (racism) is it starting to disappear.

I said "no" to drugs, but they just wouldn't listen...

The thing about peaches is that you can't really make an army out of most of them, because they're all licensed, and only Rebels, Indiana Jones Grunts, and maybe a couple others even work as troops. On the other hand, there are tons of yellow lines that offer up pre-made armies pretty much, so you can just mass up those. So in short, I only use yellows.

I have about ten peach heads which I have captured for study,
I believe that I have isolated the root peach ancestor, or proto-peach as I refer to it,
Beware, it is hideous.
Link
other than that I pit peaches against yellows for genocidal fun.
Yellow power!

motivation poles (+1 to all units that arent peach/enemie near by)
peachs(zombies or evil)
keeping that fire burning.

Well I'm sorry, but if you have issues with peaches, you need to lighten up a bit more. How does having a few peach heads in a Star Wars set prevent you from buying it? I like peaches because they have more variable expressions (In my collection) and they work for the small armies I build. I'm not making any massive super army out of classic LEGO elements becausejifel wrote:quite simple. A.) Money-wise, I'm not financially suitable for it
B.) I wouldn't know what to do with it
If I were to make my Dansche Faction into a full scale army, i would probably keep it peach, due to the fact that I can buy tons of peach simple minifig heads (http://www.bricklink.com/store.asp?p=ea ... D=12128045) for a relatively low price. I mean seriously, don't tell me that "My creation's yellow population of minifigs supported my army" because you knwo that's not entirely true. I bet you bought a bunch extra.

I think he has issues with the idea of using peaches in his army, not yours.muffinmanifestation wrote:Well I'm sorry, but if you have issues with peaches, you need to lighten up a bit more.
Don't contribute to the overwhelming tide of man-children and actual children getting shirty with each other over their choice of brickbrand, color of minifig flesh, or whether or not it needs moar baseplates. Otherwise the booty bothered monster will come for you.
And that's terrible.

I still buy sets with peaches, they just have less Army-builders material. Some sets like the new AT-TE are quite good even when you remove the peachiness. While Peaches can look good by themselves (see RoC77), I just have more yellows than peach. And the problem isn't that bad. I just like to exaggerate and kill things. If you have more peaches than yellow, go for it. More people for me to kill. But SW doesn't actually have that many peaches. A lot of the characters have helmets on or are aliens, so they wouldn't be yellow anyway.muffinmanifestation wrote:Well I'm sorry, but if you have issues with peaches, you need to lighten up a bit more. All in all, yellow is just better army building for me, and I have bits of body parts leftover that I have to do something with.
