That remind me of a name that I might use when I make a SHIPpiltogg wrote:I'm rather partial to god's own fist witch I belive was a trebuchet during the crusades, but would make a good name for a ship as well.
God's personal anti-son-of-a-bitch machine. Which is how sergent Avery Johnson described Halo. The full quote was:
"Men, we led those dumb bugs out to the middle of nowhere to keep 'em from getting their filthy claws on Earth. But, we stumbled onto something they're so hot for, that they're scrambling over each other to get it. Now I don't care if it's God's own anti-son-of-a-bitch machine or a giant hula-hoop; We're not gonna let them have it! What we will let them have is a belly full of lead and a pool of their own blood to drown in! Am I right Marines?!"
That's probably a pretty Brikwarsy quote there. Actually Giant Hula Hoop would be awesome if the ship looked like one, kinda hard to do in Lego.
There are actually different naming method I've seen used. For example just a serial number: CCS-U264(Name of a CCS-class battle cruiser from Halo). Another method is using the name of a famous person:I can't think of any specific but I know the British navy has/had a few ship named after Queens. The are a few methods using nouns and verbs but these ussually follow a rule used by that navy: Truth and Reconciliation(another CCS-class battle cruiser).

The post-resource scarcity society known as the Culture in Iain M Bank's books have some excellent ship names.

CONGRATULATIONS - you just WON The Game FOREVER. Or you can carry on being a humourless nugget - your call.
