Much work has been done on the ship. Here I will detail all the changes.

First-off, the main cannon gets a new firing barrel. It is 32 studs long, taking up the first 10" of the main deck.

It got an improved control console as well. Only the L33Test of the L33T are allowed to sit behind here.

The main hull of the ship, under construction. Here you can see the new gun turrets. (Though the Starboard one is still under construction.) These lasers can punch a hole through the side of any ship, and will give the destroyer an advantage in close-range ship to ship combat.

Close-up of the guns. The armour plate can be bent out of the way so that it can fire perpendicular to the hull in case enemy ships come up along the side.

The new armoury under construction. Note the force-field door.

The front of the ship looks almost the same. The difference is that the big sensor box on the bottom has been moved up and the ceiling block has been shortened to accommodate a bigger upper deck.

Mail hull is now complete, except the starboard guns. Note that I ran out of plain white tiles lol.

The back of the hull remains the same with the two bunks and the medical stretcher. The stretcher lets the ship's doctor heal two minifigs per turn if one can be brought to it. You can also see the room on the right. I'm not sure what should go in here. All it has right now are some computer wall consoles and a manual control station for the starboard gun turret should the computers get fried.

The upper deck will need to be expanded considerably to fit on top now!!

And here is the crew. The original crew was of only 6, but now it's 10. Major Natalya isn't always on board, so she isn't counted. But if she is on the ship she will pilot it. There are three types of crew members. First are the pilots up top. The doctor guy can act as a pilot until someone gets injured. He's holding a knife and a healing ray. The middle are the main crew. They are all Mekanics, trained to operate on large star ships. They control the engines and the main cannon, while the pilots do stuff on the bridge deck. The last row is security. These are Assyrian Commandos trained for on ship duty. If you try to board the ship, these are the guys you'll have to answer to. They will also distribute laser rifles from the armoury to the other crew members if the ship gets boarded.
That's all for now. Maybe if I make the bridge deck big enough I will add more crew members to help out, but for now this is good.

Great job on the refit Natalya, I can't wait to see when it's done. Are you going to change the rest of the weapon emplacements or redesigning any of the old ones?
Yeah, I was wondering if we are going to implement some type of universal standard docking collar? So, if any of our ship's meet we can dock with them easily....james+burgundy wrote:Nice retrofitting, It needs a standard docking collar. More for ship to ship and bigger battles.

Ahhh... Slope tapred top & bottom of a 5 brick tall opening, I use that already. Except I use a a 1x1 brick w/hole instead of the 1x2 brick w/hole. Thanks.
