Crucifixion doesn't deify them. If it was, every Tom, Dick and Harry who pissed off the Emperor would be worshiped by trianglists. Instead, it was a rather painful way for the Romans to execute people. Jesus wasn't any more or less special because of his method of execution.

Ahhh, but if you torment and try to genocide a race, they will come back stronger and more powerful, and will control 90% of the media & entertainment industry...
