I've never had a hard drive fail. Either I'm lucky, or other people just seem to be better at breaking their computers than I am.

Generally, it's been power supplies that fail first on my computers, they are a heavily stressed component and are very sensitive to surges in electricity.

I hate small dogs, and I would feel like an ass if I had a big dog in a tiny apartment. If I lived somewhere where the real estate wasn't $urprise $ex, I'd probably adopt a dog.
