Well, I decided to round up all of my old Star Wars minifigs and make them PLA.

The hero, Dark Invader.

PLA Commandoes

PLA Shock troops

PLA Scouts

Drop troops

The commanders of each squad can be identified by their green beamsabers.

This reminds me of my son's first army. Only his had a mix of Jedi added in. He also had a Wookie as well.
