At least now he has something to gasp about.
Often, literally, a pillow fight but may include similar situations like volleyball, particularly when wardrobe is skimpy and the action is bouncy.

Yes, Pokomon manifestations can be annoying but I was thinking more of the real reason you were at the convention. This I believe is your true alter ego, Special Agent Bennypants.

It was pretty amazing.

The layout was 1,200 square feet of LEGO, with over 2,000,000 pieces valued at at least $250,000. Over 17,000 people were there and I think most of them stopped by our exhibit. A few of us were conspiring to have a Brikwar on the layout after-hours, but we didn't have the time.

We were graciously treated to dinner by the incomparable Steve Witt, and we also got to hang out a lot with Jamie Berard and Erik Varszegi. Steve gave me the nickname "Cheap Thrill" because I love the onion volcanoes at hibachi restaurants, even though that's like the one thing that absolutely anyone can do. Come on, who else is with me that those are the best part? (We had one of those chefs who just doesn't give a fuck and would squirt sake straight into our mouths until we gave up). These guys and everyone at NELUG were very awesome. :D

So then on Saturday we had a pizza party at the LEGO NAHQ in Enfield, after which we were treated to a severely discounted romp in the warehouse, where they were keeping pallets of sets, K8s, and LEGO designer drawers full of rare bricks. I spent less than $100 but I walked away with 2 of these, a bunch of Exo-force stuff, and at least $400 in assorted bricks.

Pretty freakin sweet.

Yikes. I guess I picked the wrong month not to join NELUG.

Do they let anyone buy boxes of plates and bricks?

I was at one of those flaming onion places, once. The guy sitting next to me almost got [stab]ed by the chef's fork that sailed though the air between us.

They were selling baseplates for $2-3 each, and then I traded a bag of minifig legs for three of these after the convention. I don't know if they usually sell those to anyone, I think it might have been a one-time thing. They used to have surplus sales back when it was a manufacturing plant, but now they've moved the factory to other parts of the US and Mexico.

Something like that happened to me once in San Francisco, when a juggler dropped a flaming baton and it landed right next to some kids who started screaming. I laughed.

By the way, if you don't join NELUG by November and come to Kid's Fest I will be sincerely disappointed, Tzan

The very same.

It's sponsored by LEGO, so there will definitely be LEGO employees there

Wow, how did this go from Post Apoc vehicles to Benny's pants?

Awesome builds dude, I honestly can't pick a favorite cuz I like them all! Keep up the great work!
When cities burn and armies turn to flee in diseray
The weak ones cry "tis best to fly and fight another day!"
But true heroes know deep in their marrow when they die and fall,
"Tis better to have faught and lost, than to have never faught at all!"
