My loot from the 'Buck-a-Book Sale' at All Saints' Anglican Church Westboro*.

*That's a neighbourhood in Ottawa, no connection to that church.

I need to build a display case.

I am feeling horribly guilty. My 40th birthday was last Wednesday. No pics, my apologies for that, they will be forthcoming when I build a display case for some of the loot I got.

A buddy of mine, whom I jokingly refer to as my "Toy Guy" (you know, people have guys for stuff - you can have a sandwich guy, a suit guy, that kind of stuff - I have a toy guy, someone who finds shiny crap I want). Well, for my birthday he brought me a BAG of Lego. One Nexo Knights set, the Mammoth fortress from Chima, the Batman/Harley Quinn bike chase set (love Harley from that set), and complete sets of both the Batman minifig series AND series 17!!! ^OO^ *So guilty*

On the plus side, I hadn't seen HIM for a while, and had a couple years' worth of back-Manly Santa Day gifts to give HIM (lots of Brickforge bits for his Space Police), but still...

Anyway, I have decided to make a display case for the Batman figs and others. A buddy of mine has suggested I deck it out to look like a dance set from the old 60's Batman tv show. Thoughts? :warhead:

Just bought 45 tan 2x4 bricks, I have no idea what to do with them, I've got maybe 40 more, I was thinking maybe a middle eastern castle, but not too sure yet, send recommendations.

P.S. Really sorry if the pic is massive.

Tan goes well with brown for a fantasy cottage/house. Or a mos eisley-like setting if in space.

Full view of my Liverpool loot. The Saturn V takes the biscuit, which I think will look :666: next to my Space Shuttle Adventure. For some reason the cashier chucked in a load of Batman figures as part of some promotion I didn't know about, which was nice. The two Pick A Brick tubs are for some upcoming builds. I have two more Death Tanks currently in progress, and found a bunch of turnplate bases which I figured would make some pretty nice greebles for them. Also the 6x5x1 window bricks, which are for what I hope will be part of a fourth, larger scale death tank. Ideas are still rattling around in my head, and I will have to wait until my large BL order arrives from Germany to figure out exactly what I want to do.
