Giant Gundams

All you guys need is to build some battle armor, like the clan Elementals. Jump on the Gundam, latch on, and started melting through the armor with lasers. I'm going to try to build one, but it will probably suck.

The Karasawa was terrible every game after and including Armored Core 3.

HEY MY CANNON STILL HAS A DECENT CHANCE AGAINST THAT! it has longer range and if you try and block the shell with the gun the gun will probably be split in half.

YAY IM STILL IN HERE WITH THE ONLY POSSIBLE SOLUTION!

Hey, you don't know how powerful your gun is against that, as neither of you have shown the other your stats.

And Natalya, I'm going to need a bigger tank. Like a tank the size of an Armored Core.

It's a giant laser rifle. No recoil, just beams of incineration. Also, a firing control system (targeting computer) is built into the Armoured Core. Additionally, even if you broke this gun by shooting it, my AC will still have other weapons mounted on its shoulders for you to contend with.

Well I was building this large command tank (btw, it was going to be bigger than your rifle) before and I was thinking of mounting a superweapon to take your core down. Then I thought, "Should put all my eggs in one basket?" and if the tank went down it was game over. So, I scrapped her and build these.

(If your not familiar with my Army, the front three are the new pieces)

I'm thinking a combination of collateral damage between tanks, rocket troops, & artillery should be a better strategy than one main weapon. (if I had a core it would be different)

Tathing, you forget that I also have the biggest space cruiser on these forums. Its 13 weapon emplacements and magnetic deflector shields make it a hard target to contend with.

That little battalion of tanks does pose a threat. If I had my two tanks to back me up though it would probably pan out in my favour since you can't ignore them and concentrate all fire on the AC. The Artemis probably couldn't kill one of yours in a single shot but the Mars with it's Heavy Gauss Cannon could take down any of the smaller tanks. However I'd have to deal with your command tank using the AC.

I don't know though, even if it was just the AC vs. your tanks, it isn't necessarily decided... The AC isn't limited to attacking only with weapons as your vehicles are. It can also kick them off of cliffs or rip their turrets off with its hands if you manage to destroy its Karasawa Laser Rifle. Because of this flexibility I'm thinking that AC's or other giant mecha are potentially the most effective fighting machines that can be built.

Ah, but it does have a weakness. I once built a swarm of small rocket-propelled robots about the size of a minifig. Their sole weapons were drills with explosives on them. All these Sapper Droids would have to do is latch onto the head of your AC and drill their bombs into the cockpit. They're so small, your cannon's got 0 chance of taking out them all. Then, once they latch on, if your AC slaps them off, it damages itself. If it leaves them alone, the drills go through, the shaped-charges detonate, and your pilot's a pile of smoking ashes.

I understand we're very competitive wargamers, but come on, it reminds me of elementary school when everyone would tell all the other kids how their parents were astronauts or how they once saw a Pokemon or something.

People can have better stuff than you, ya know. Except for Natalya.

Essentially Elementals...only elementals had lasers, and incendiary missiles to overheat systems

umm.... you might have the biggest cruiser, but not necessarily the best, 19 emplacements!!!

Ahh.... True, I probably wouldn't have enough armor to take your core on if it had it's armor escorts, but you do realize I've only spent one day countering your core. I still have one more sets of tracks left, and I still need to build artillery! It is the king of battle for a reason.....
