So I have been searching in vain on Bricklink and I am trying to find the parts for the tank treads and the wheels that go with them. specifically, the ones that link together and actually look like tank treads, not the rubber ones. if anyone can point me in the right direction, ill be super happy. im on a tank fix and i wanna build like 6+ tanks for my army lol

is it me, or are we getting a LOT of tank threads? I think we need a tank FAQ

i went tank crazy, i have 1 of them built, then using it, im upconverting to make 2+ minifig sized tanks. and now i want moar, cause who doesn't love tanks? lol and yes, i agree, maybe a tank thread would be a good one to start for all things tank on the forums & on the interwebs.

I would be in favor of a tank thread.

The Chima line has some nice treads.

I'm thinking about saving up and investing in 2 to 4 of the TIE Crawler sets (7664) i can get them on eBay for the $55 to $65 range and they have like 120+ per side of the crawler. not to mention, it looks like they have decent parts. what are your guys thoughts on it?

Found resonable. It's a bit expensive though.

Cheaper to buy on bricklink.

so the wife surprised me. and i don't even know how she pulled it off. i now have 240x black tank treads. and now my next project is building a warhammer 40k Land Raider >:)
