What do you do with your LEGO sets?

I recently got some of the new LEGO Indiana Jones sets. I assembled them and played around with them, but I'm wondering if I should take them apart and build new stuff with them now, or keep the assembled?

I mostly build them and then i kinda collect/play with 'em.
The only time i took a set apart was to make a MOC to a school contest (who doesn't remember Metal Gear FOX?) that had prizes. I won the 2nd place.

I glue my LEGO sets together to keep them on perpetual display. I still have the first set I ever assembled.

What I do isn't really up there. I build them first, look at them for a couple minutes and then take them apart.
I just said "Use them for spare parts" though.

All of the above. I build them, play with them, integrate them, sell rare parts/figs, smash them, bash them, and then scrap and sort them, or sometimes a bunch of other things. Why didn't you make an 'all of the above' option?

My record shortest time for keeping a set together was about 5 minutes. It was a Naboo starfighter I asked for for Manly Santa Day specifically for parts.
The set I kept together for longest was the old Republic Gunship. By the end of its life it had been modified so much that only the basic framework was carried over from the original model.

I usually put the set together, set it on the shelf, and ignore it until I need a part off it. Then I rip it apart and it ends up in the Lego box. (Unless it's a Star Wars set. Then it stays together for a bit longer.)

Well, all of my Indiana Jones sets have now been ripped apart, and I'm building an ultimate temple to use for BrikWars.

for me it denpends on the set if I really like it I keep it otgether, but almost always I end up using it for a moc or something. The really big sets are ussually first to go, cause of the volume of pieces.

I think I just exploded.
After I buy a set, I keep it together until I buy another one. Then I take apart the first set and use it for parts. This way, I always have at least one set that's built. If I want to use it, I just go out and buy a new one.

Yeah, I always build whatever it is, and then tear it to pieces. Half the pieces or so from any set will go into the creation of a brand-spanking new unit for one of my armies, and the other half go into the bins where they get used later in creations.
