Re: The official LOOT topic
why, why did they go and turn hero factory into a pacific rim knockoff?!
Re: The official LOOT topic
IKR, my favorite part in 'Rim was when they went spelunking and fought the zerg queen over a lake of acid!

Not yet. It's a bit difficult to handle 'Colada' (the rusty imitation pseudo-rapier), and the foil's too good to put in my mouth. Also it's electric.Silverdream wrote:Nice swords. Have you practiced the three sword style yet?

You're saying that like it's supposed to be disappointing. I know they're fake, I knew they were fake the moment I saw them.Vami IV wrote:I hate to break it to you, but those 'katana' and 'wakizashi' are fake.
I mean seriously, who sells a real katana and wakizashi for $50 each? Also the fact that the quality's a bit shoddy, and there you have it.
Still, a fake katana is cooler than no katana.
Colada is a fake/replica too. They mismatched metals (the hilt is different to the blade) and used a sig-welder on it. As well as the fact that you don't find legendary Spanish blades at flea markets.
The only legitimate sword there is the foil: a FIE (Federation Internationale d'Escrime) approved electric blade. Meaning it's rigged up for competition fencing.
