Ken's Brikwarsy Endeavors
Hey guys, I wanted to make a thread for all my works-in-progresses and all other sorts of things I'm going to be using for Brikwars purposes. I have a few concepts that are only half-done, and I figured this could be a good place to get some advice while unfinished models are at that awkward 'dafuq is this' kind of stage. First and foremost, here is my new work station for anything and everything Lego/Brikwars.

Loving the castle and houses, all this is great.
The only unflawed system is Lego System.

Nice setup there, also loving that lego hat.
You are faced with door what do you do
I use my flamethrower

I think I like the unopened boxes to the right the most. The untapped potential...

When you say you'd like advice, do you mean now? Or are you just preemptively making this thread so you have a logical place to ask?
If you're looking for advice now, what specifically?
Also those boxes (basic brick sets?) are making me itch.

Pretty much the latter. I'll be posting all sorts of MOCs in the future that I'll be unsure about. I just wanted a place to post my works-in-progress as well as the finished product. It's nice to look back on the progress and see just how well or how poorly you did.aoffan23 wrote:When you say you'd like advice, do you mean now? I don't know how I feel about the revamped head, but the last picture depicts my version and the actual set's version. Other than the head, I didn't do much else to it. I shortened the body by a couple of studs and kept the legs the same. Hopefully, I'll be using these as cavalry soon.
Also, most of those boxes are open now.

Waiting until you get home to open a box of lego is always so...Hm.
I can't think of a word that accurately describes that situation.

Re: Ken's Brikwarsy Endeavors
This is a bit of a teaser for a SOB I'm trying to finish before classes start. It's supposed to be underground scene so of course it's dark (that was half by mistake, since this I'm still fiddling with my camera settings). Just now experimenting in PS to give it a bit more oomph.
For example, torches will be hanging on walls and shit, mayhaps there's a way to make them look like they're illuminating the walls and looking all flamey.

Update:
Still learning how to add light and making it brighter, now I'm researching ways of making the shadows look a bit better. Any suggestions?
