Cyberpunk Lego- Ideas

Post by M220 » Thu Jun 04, 2015 4:00 am

Ok guys.

Well, you see, I've been attempting to make several cyberpunk-looking minifigs, but I've been confronted with 3 problems (mainly relating to helmets):

6. Lego sells hardly any cyberpunk-like stuff.

7. The stuff that Lego does sell (usually in medium/large sized sets) has hardly any of those parts even if I did by one big set. (eg 1-2 per set)

8. 3rd Party stuff is also expensive and hard to find.

So, has anyone got some good ideas/recommendations for helmets and other stuff? If possible, also reference to availability and cost?
Mnds are like parachutes. Just because you've lost yours doesn't mean you can borrow mine.

Go for dark greys and blacks if looking at helmets, possibly also elegant but 'solid' futuristic gear (i.e. Starcraft Terrans, Halo Spartans, Warhammer 40k Imperial Guard styles and the like could be implemented). Motorbike helmets as well. Remember, though, only those extremely concerned with safety will be using helmets; with everyone else it's all about style. Use as many wacky hairdos as possible - mohawks, afros, you name it. For the body, dark/edgy body armour or jackets. Trenchcoats if possible. Legs, just whatever dark colours that fit. Do not touch lego fantasy gear with a ten-foot pole.

Just google 'cyberpunk' and try replicating it (maybe not some of the edgier female outfits).

Make sure the hair is also either brightly colored or black.

Is that graffiti a custom decal? For some reason it looks like it could be from an old megbloks set

It's from a Space Police 3 set, the space truck with the big yellow container on it.
