Don't you hate it when you're missing THAT piece? And you don't want to Bricklink just that one piece? Well here's the solution to that! Post a request for a piece, and if someone happens to have the piece, they'll PM you for a shipping destination, and then they send the piece via mail! Simple, efficient , and money-saving!

This sounds like a good idea, but won't paying for shipping for one piece make this super impractical? Especially since we have members from both sides of the pond.

Only thing being paid for would be the stamp, it can just be a letter. Someone sent me a Lego axe in a letter.

This is just for little pieces that are crucial to finishing what you're doing. The hull is a start to a build. What I'm suggesting is pieces that END a build. As for antennae, bubble wrap is rad.

Ah gotcha. However I would rather use a tiny plastic box of some kind (like for pills) than bubble wrap, in case someone drops something heavy on it.

Most of the forum is in North America. I'd assume if this idea were to be put in place, it would be used for other people in your region. Europe is tiny, so I'm sure it won't be too difficult for a lot of you.
