also I didn't feel like downloading and installing LDD so that will be my entry regardless of the rules.

It is minifig scale! The minifig puts it on top it's head! And the furniture is dust, FYI.

Could my entry be based on a previous design? I have a nice little house, but it's based off of the old LEGO design from the 80s.

If not, I might just find the time to make something, but I have a lot of work to do...

It can be based on anything you want, as long as it's cool and cheap.
