So, you always wanted a Gundam like this? I know I did. Some of y'all have seen the picture of those Gundam legs I built in 2003, but I never could complete the torso... Well I never was able to make the body because I didn't know how to build a frame underneath. The legs, I had copied their structure and joints from Klapacius' Dark Gundam, going off pics I'd seen on his website. But his pics weren't detailed enough for making the rest of the body, and I didn't have the parts.
Well, if you want a killer Dungam Mobill Fuku then you're in luck. The guy made instructions on how to build the gundams. Granted they've veen around for about 6 years now, but I didn't have a paypal acct back then... But I do now.

Just go there and the knowledge will be yours.
Expect awesome shit from me in the future.
Note: Fuku means suit in Japanese.

I just made a $55 Brick Link order for supplies, mostly technic stuff. This shit is on. It's on like Donkey Kong.
A bit over $34 of it was for these big technic turntables. The model uses 7 of them and they go for anywhere between $4.00 and $12.00 depending on who you're buying from. When I originally copied his designs for those legs, he wasn't using them. I think those parts were new back then. Instead the legs had elaborate worm screw hip joints which were very strong and provided a surprising amount of flexibility. However, he later discovered the turntables and now with these instructions he incorporates them instead. The turntables look to be superior though in terms of rigidity and their degree of motion.

The order hasn't come yet, but construction has begun.
It's easy to see one of these massive mecha and understand that it's big, but it can be hard to appreciate their size. So, I'll help y'all out...

Okay as you can see, I've got the pilot next to some parts of the under-construction mecha. On the left is the right elbow assembly with the base of the upper arm and the big white rotation disk that lets it twist. The grey to the white is only about half of the upper arm. On the right is the left disk. So, just this little piece of arm is already taller than a minifigure who's wearing epaulets and a helmet. Continuing...

Same as above, except now you have the head as well. Now you can see how it will really stack up.

Comparison between the tank and the head. The head (excluding the spike) is as tall as the tank (excluding the gun on top.) If the head's as tall as a tank and the elbow area is almost as long as one, then you really know that you're dealing with something massive.

This just lets you see the joints in action.
But yea, it's gonna prawn. This model here will be an Assyrian Armoured Core and will be their most powerful land & sky-based weapon.

Exactly.
As you can see, I have nearly completed the frame of the upper torso, or the core of the AC. However, I'll have to wait until my parts arrive from Germany to finish that section off. when they get here I'll also get to start on the shoulder joints.

It could be like the big corvette-thing...
Either way, I don't want to be between that and whatever it wants.

Hmm. Put it lying down, belly down, the head could be the command bridge.
