So, last night I opened a bottle of wine & played a little Barry White, and left my Main Battle Tank & Infantry Fighting Vehicle's in the room alone and the next morning I found these!!!!!

Because, of the 45th's expanding territories and the proliferation of arms by neighbooring nations. (*cough* Assyrian Mechanical Monstorsity *cough*). The need for a mass production tank was needed. The T-150 is a homage to the old Russian T-50. Not particualrly pretty, but it was low cost and can be produced in high numbers. Even though the track system is exposed, it has a simple low profile design, and uses a dual pair track setup. Meaning to disable this tank, you will need to take out both tracks on one side. Capable of carrying a couple of troopers, it is still a tank and armed sufficently to prove it's worth on the battle field.

I wish I had those, especially since they're in my army's colors. Nice tanks since they can be mass produced.

Well, I think this kind of gets me out of the running with you and Natalya. It was fun guys, but I just can't compete.

Great job on the tanks Roc But they wouldn't stand a chance against a squad of M.I.

If your talking about the ones from the movie, yes, but if you have read the book you will know what i mean by my first statement.

no, i've read the book (the ones in the movie were glorified imperial guard).
power armor just isn't as effective against regular armor.

Yes but the power armor has advantages over tanks it is more agile it is a small target and they can pack quite a punch. Yes I know the last is not always true hen it comes to tanks.

Hey RoC77, would it be much trouble posting pictures of how you set up the gears and wheels with the treads on the Goliath and BMP-89s? I'm trying to re-do my tank as I just got more treads, but I'm having trouble making something as large as those tanks.

IWANTATANKLIKETHATONE

Can't get one because:
1-LDD has no treads
2-LDD is too expensive as of now

Unless you were building a SHIP & a wing of fighters, you were probably out of the running a while ago. Me and Natalya seem to have the largest well rounded forces publicly announced on these forums, it would be an effort & cost to throw down with us. But, it still shouldn't dissuade you from trying. I've been purchasing for the last 6 months, starting up my collection and I think I'm capping my spending soon, so you can catch up in time.

Yeah, I'm proud of my tracks, it was a bit of a pain to have it set the right way and have an appearance of functionality. If you haven't tried to build a tank using these tracks, it's frustrating sometimes, because after you think you have built a nice frame for it, you put the tracks on and they don't fit correctly. You have to have to do a bit of trial & error with the frame for the tracks to fit correctly or you'll be in that limbo of it's too tight and the tracks won't move or if you add one more there's too much slack.

Something is going on with brickshelf at the moment, I'll post the tracks later today.........
