Terrain

Post by OneEye589 » Sat May 02, 2009 9:12 pm

So, now that my PRA army is pretty well done and the stats are all finished, a friend and I are going to have a Brikwar next weekend. I have a problem though; I need to make terrain. I know a lot of you like to just use common household items, but I like to use all Legos. Do any of you have good tricks to use for making really nice looking Lego terrain?

Or you can just post pictures of really nice looking terrain on here, too, for everyone to use.

"if you can't see it then you can't see it" for example if you are making a grassy hill only use green on the top underneath use whatever color you want to use that way you conserve that color
Been here longer then pretty much all of you or some shit.

Yea, I mean things like trees and fences, too. You know how people bring their terrain pieces to Warhammer games and things like that and just scatter it around on the playing area? I would like some terrain like that, too, and was just wondering if people had any good building techniques for it.

If you have any hill baseplates, those are the quickest of all. Boulders and BURPs make good rock formations. Duplo bricks make very quick ruined fortifications.

The Jungle Cutter came with these really cool little trees that I use occasionally. They're pretty easy to reproduce.

Honestly though, hill baseplates are your best course. They'll provide the most cover, and are easy to make.

No, it's not easy to make, it's already done so you don't have to build it yourself.

attaching plates to one another works pretty well, or you could continue stacking plate pieces to create a small hill.....It's hard to explain here's a picture
