After motoring around on SSLF,i found these. For a measly 7 bucks, you can get the instructions to the Scorpion Tank from Halo! I might get it and improve on. He also has ATVs and Ghosts, making for excellent quickwars.

The sad thing is Saber-Scorpion has a bunch of dimmies who follow him around like he's the god of LEGO. I used to be one of them, and looking back the point at which I became a good builder was the point that I realized Saber-Scorpion wasn't all that great.

He's a veritable fountain of unintentional comedy, though, so in that sense, he's fantastic. Hard to mock, though, because he's clearly embraced a level of ridiculousness I can barely fathom.

"That's appropriate," said the drone. "Armed, it can fuck entire solar systems."

Actually the whole "writing a 400-page novel about his own exploits as a genetically-engineered space ninja" thing is pretty easy to mock. Although I will always have to give him credit with bringing an end to my dark ages, he also limits a lot of builders' potential because they try to emulate him all the time instead of looking to Classic-Space or another higher-quality forum for inspiration (CoughBrikwarsCough)

I was sadly (happily? It's hard to tell) unaware of that up until you mentioned it. Then I looked.

I made it a paragraph before fleeing in terror - it was like a madman trying to fist-fuck a steaming turd the size of an Astarte ham into my eye. I'm going to go ritually cleanse myself with a copy of Strunk and White's The Elements of Style.

personally I think he's really good but he did bring out the Lego builder in me(I was building tiny jeeps, not anything bigger, besides, if it hadn't been for him I would never have discovered this forum)

If you ignore his legions of idiot fans, and his strange fictional universe, he's actually a pretty cool guy. His style of building is just much more old fashioned than we're used to seeing from the big players. He might get better if he built more often, and looked at other people's stuff more often, but I think he's still in college and has a huge workload. He has a made a few totally awesome things though, like these:

I think those stats only apply to non-Mexicans.

Saber-Scorpion is a pretty cool guy, eh builds LEGOs and doesn't afraid of anything.

Well yeah, I build generally in the old style as well, but these model designs he's selling are... bad.

These models are pretty damn good though.

Problem is, if you take good photos, build passably good creations, and have a unique backstory which is well-written by a 10-year-old's standards, you too can become the most undeservedly revered builder on Mocpages. I've seen it happen at least 3 times now. Saber-Scorpion is a good builder, but like I said he limits a lot of people who try to emulate him rather than push themselves toward higher goals. Trust me, there are much better people out there.

Also: He only entered college fairly recently -- for most of the time when he was actively building stuff, he was a high school student, and he still managed to build less frequently than JF, Commander Fed, or any of the other "famous" builders.

I need instructions for tanks, but he doesn't have any.
