Does anyone remember the (sadly) short-lived vikings line?
Look at this!
That is possibly one of my favorite sets of all time.
Did anyone else pick up some of these beauties?

My girlfriend bought me the set with the big wagon the vikings pulled that shot the little red darts.

Dood, Vikings were frickin' thug. I had that one set that you cranked and it fired two clips of missiles...that rocked.
And hey, Vikings are dirt cheap now, and they look awesome. No peaches!
All the sets had so many figs that it wasn't even funny.

i have(none still constructed):
1:Viking Warrior challenges the Fenris Wolf
1:Viking Boat against the Wyvern Dragon
1:Viking Catapult versus the Nidhogg Dragon
2:Viking Ship challenges the Midgard Serpent
1:Viking Fortress against the Fafnir Dragon
the fortress is(was) awesome, the ships awesome, the dragons from the sets are really awesome!
the midgard serpent had lots of cool bits.

I have the 10 buck viking boat. I do regret not getting more, but IIRC, Dino Attack was still available at the moment, and Dino was bomb (except the actual dinos, who were just bombed). That longboat set though was beautiful.

I had all the vikings except the one or two that came out after the first wave. They all rocked hard, especially the Longboat, which IMO is the second best ship Lego has ever made.

Yeah, I had the longboat too, that thing was the proverbial shit. It had chicken legs and a keg. That's pretty awesome.

I just looked up the Viking Fortress. I think that's the first base i've seen from TLC that doesn't have an open back.

the viking fortress is (was if you only inclued corrent sets) one of my favorite sets, it had 2 small catapults and one big one, it had a cage for a little dragon, the gates where awesome, and it came with not one, but two dragons (thought one was ticty but one (in my opion) of the best small model that lego has made), the walls of the fort where made of POOPs but they are good POOPs for building the walls(though lots of log 1x4 pieces would of been usefull it would of taken a lot longer than it did).
if it was still out id say, buy it now and if you can buy TWO.
theres probelly some on bricklink, but due to the awesome they are probelly high priced.
