BILLY BONE'S BONER!
The Undead Pirates rush the Undead Deadly Spacemen. But what are they fighting over?
Uncle Zombie Sam Lincoln drives his horde onwards!
The Undead Deadly Spacemen are quick to get their heavy weapon crews into action. They have a commanding view from the guard tower (my sons creation).
BUT! What is this? The direct assault is but a rouse?!? Those sneaky undead pirates!
The Undead Deadly Spacemen are none the wiser, but what is all this about?
The Boner! A Pirate Ramming Ship. It was a small passenger liner before it was captured but now it has been refitted with some odd additions and lots of armour and military hardware.
It's not yet finished, this took most of today alone. For the moment it is armed with a Harpoon EMP Missile, Two Capital Ship Fusion Lances and a set of twin Ship Claw Grabbers at the front. Plus the ability to directly ram head first into other ships and survive and an assault ramp for boarding. Being undead the crew need very little.
The Helm. Nice big window to look at all the pretty space debris as you strike the target.
The Captain's Chair. Main Weapons, Navigation/Plotting/Missile Tracking and Point Defence, Damage Control/Security and Auxiliary Engineering or Auxiliary anything else is conducted from these four work stations.
The only shot of the below deck Engineering Section that you'll get tonight. I can't be arsed getting the lid off and taking more photo's. Auxiliary Weapons as well as Main Engineering and Damage Control are conducted here.
The worst of it is that all Zombie Lincolns undead can't fit on any of the chairs and the Boner takes ten crewmen to fight this ship to the best of it's abilities (strangely the exact number of Undead Deadly Spacemen) while it also has room for about twenty plus troops who don't mind standing about doing nothing all day until they get to fight... just like the twenty or so undead Pirates and Zombie Lincoln. Amazing! Maybe someone should mention it to them? Nahh...

Ramming the enemy ships... well, it worked pretty well in Star Trek: Nemesis, didn't it?

Thanks guys, appreciated. It's my first all enclosed ship, or it will be when I get it finished. Me and Miniwarhead had a laugh building this one. I'm not sure I managed the separate deck thing but valuable lessons have been learned so my next ship should be better.
Ramming is a very viable tactic and not just a last resort of desperation. The long ranged Lances chase down and wound the prey ship (targeting Weapons and Engines), the EMP Harpoon disables the target and the grabbers pierce the preys hull when the Boner rams the target while the shaped charges on the ramming prow take care of excess debris or an intact hull. Then the assault ramp opens and you have 20+ Undead blood thirsty armed to the teeth Space Pirates and Zombie Lincoln to fight plus ten Undead Deadly Spacemen. Besides, their all a bit unhinged so it might just work.
(It actually has a Ram Prow Drive Emitter. It Exerts a physical force before the ship like a ram. The engines take the strain when it strikes the target. Collision will be rough to say the least but the crew are undead and the ship is designed for it. The result should not be fatal to the Boner).
The dimensions so far, discounting wing tips and other such sticking out bits. Length: 57 studs, Width: 22 studs, height: 15 briks.
I have plans for a roof and some point defence turrets, a main weapon turret, a large sensor array, and missiles. I'll also take some more pictures, including the interior below.

Here comes the interior shots. I stuck some crew in... not as roomy as I at first thought. The rest will just have to hang on to the outside.
The Boner, again.
Flight Deck without canopy.
Mr Zombie Lincoln presides on the command deck.
Ships skeleton crew... sorry.
The other side of the command bridge.
Side view of the Grabber Hooks in action. The top is off.
A ship divided cannot stand!
Ah, more sage Feng Shui words of advice from Mr Zombie Lincoln. What a crazy dude.
Well hello there! Vilderness cookies?
Now, now, no pushing back there! Hey! Mind where your sticking that... thing.
Heavy duty hatchway into engineering.
Engineering.
Yes, Goodbye! Mr Zombie Lincoln! Come again soon. Bye!

That hatch is an excellent idea. I love it.

The two white hinge pieces? Yeah, I thought of that too. It's in my moonbase as we type. Oh damn, I gave warhead an idea for the forum battle!

I only have dark-blue trans and neon-green trans in that large hinge piece. Now I wish I had solid colors.

No, the third from the bottom. The gigantic hatch.

Yeah, I love those hatches too. I have the trans blue and these whites. They work well on just about anything.

oh, them. I only have a transparent hatch and the trans-neon-green insectoids ones. Drat, I wish lego went back to their LEGO System series'.

We didn't really get to see the back of the ship, or the engines. Still, I like this, it's nicely CS-ish.
