New LDD version

well the new LDD version is here and they made it slicker than turpentine and make more noise than a babe in cradle, but of most noticeable is the price change

there is a $10 surcharge on anything you build, on top of that you'll be charged 30-40% more per brick than if you used lego's online p-a-b section. word to the wise

only NOOBs buy non set LEGO from the tlc anyway, so it doesn't make much of a difference. :rtfm:

i only use the program for experimentation, or when i need to build a fast moc. i just thought it was odd the price it was giving me, and it is. though now you can design artwork for the box you get it in (i don't know who thought that that would be a good idea). and actually i get most of my bricks from the local lego stores pab section, even cheaper there than online.

WTFH? thats ridiculous. I don't use LDD but 10$ extra for nothing?
Is LEGO going GW-style?

I'm gonna download tonight. Planning to design in LDD, then use bricklink for parts. P-a-B shipping costs to New Zealand are truely horrendous.
