The Thermopylae fighter is a fast, cheap and nimble little interceptor.



The "Thermie", as pilots affectionately call it, is a snug fit.



It's armed with two MKII missiles, as well as a pair of chin-mounted laser cannons.



The Thermie is powered by two Centaur VBNX rocket engines, allowing it to flit amongst slower fighter-bombers with grace and deadliness.



And look, I made two of them, yay me!

I like the fact you can build loads of these without running out of parts too quick, the canopy glass is the problem there. But it looks good. You used my favourite battle as a name and then abbreviate it like some punk, that's unforgivable. Tut!

I like them although the laser cannons are not very convincing.


Battle of the Thermopylae? Admit it, you only like it because it was depicted in some animated fantasy movie. Cannae and Kursk were more awesome (not that real war could be awesome in any way...).

like the idea of it and looks pretty good would not hurt to refine it a bit but still a good build.

Now you just need to make 301 of these babies.

Um, I've honestly never seen it, and do not ever mention 300 (that bloody movie) this is not SPARTA! I just like to play against the odds, it's more sporting that way.

I don't think you can be a man unless you at least enjoy 300 for it's pure awesomeness, whether or not it is historically accurate.

Hmmm, it clashes with my curtains. Nah, it was a cinematic kick ass bit of blood lust but cringworthy for someone who likes to read about historical battles and such. Persian Ninjas... oh pleeeeeeze!

Now, the older version, 300 Spartans, was historically accurate without too much awesome loss.

What a foolish attempt of me to sound witty! Of course it is fictional battles (like in 300) and not real battles that can be awesome. Real battles can be fascinating in some way, but in the end, none of us would have wanted to take part in them...
Thus my verdict on the most awesome battle ever is The Siege of Dros Drelnoch (as depicted in Legend by David Gemmel).

You just shot to the top of my respectometer! That IS my favourite book to date. I got my first edition copy signed by the great man himself.

Oh, and if given the choice and ability, Thermopylae, yes I would.

I do not agree at all weather it results in my death or not I would recently want to be in a real battle humm.. maybe the battle of Hastings
