Little Tank-Type Thing

So, here's my latest go at a minifig scale tank. I guess I could be more pretentious and sci-fi, and call it a MAV (modular assault vehicle), but I like the Li'l Tank better.

Image

Relatively compact, with two small blaster-things and a single-use rocket. Note that the pilot is fully enclosed and "wired" into the cockpit module.

A shot of the back, showing the hard points for stuff, as well as a moving engine bit.

Lastly, a shot of the modular body of the li'l tank.

[RULES PENDING]

Wacha think?

The blasters could be bigger but the rest looks great.

Hmm... rules will be delayed until I make some suitably gigantic weaponry tonight/tomorrow.

i love modular vehicles! bigger guns could easily be placed onto the vehicle with different modular bits.

although, as i'm famous for shouting, this is not a tank. assault vehicle yes, but no treads or 360 degree turret, as well as a non-armored cockpit.

It could use work, but still a nice little vehikle.
And Hoseman, I can see a new title for you,

IVhorseman
Tank Snob

As per usual, I challenge all those who dispute my naming practices to bring it in the appropriate medium. In this instance, a game of Brikwars. =]

And yes, modular vehicles rock socks like no tomorrow. :D

Hey, you gotta new title out of it, though. :D

Anyways, I set about to build a medium-sized weapon... and went clear the hell overboard. This is what I ended up with:

I call it the Big Gun. I like it. It's gotta be around 3.5" long.

Big Gun Cost: 9 Use: 9 Range: 18" Damage: 3D6

EDIT: I had to make a bigger gun.

Image

I call it the Bigger Gun. Probably only used for big mechs and stuff. About 5.5" long.

Bigger Gun Cost: 15 Use: 15 Range: 30" Damage: 5D6

Also, vehicle rules.

Modular Attack Vehicle (Or Li'l Tank)
This vehicle is the first of its kind: this is because the desire for modularity in fighting machines wasn't realized until the military engineers stumbled upon re-runs of The Centurions. The vehicle is little more than a weapons platform with four hard points for weapons, and a fifth hard point to plug in a piloting module. These modules are fully enclosed and contain a wired-in pilot.

Base Cost: 17 CP
Size: 3
Armor: 3D10
Speed: 8"
Modules:
+Pilot (includes pilot minifig)
+4 empty hardpoints
The armor on a pilot module is non-existant, so therefore it does not cost any points.

The first images don't make it worthy of tankness, only roverness. Then I saw that you added big guns. It is acceptable as a tank, or One man death coffin, your pick.

The tank with both the big and the bigger gun on it would be sweet :D :D :D :D :D
