Ok I've Calmed down so let me explain my point
£70*L+£30
L=Life of game in years.
So after the month long trial you have to pay £70 A year (cheapest option) so if the game had a life of 4 years (not unreasonable) it'd cost you £240..... to put that into perspective that's Two Tantive IV's and an X-Wing..... or 3 battle of Endor's...... or £40 off a death star.... or 24 battle packs.
Now lets say that the game has a 5 year life span.... see what i mean, lego is going to make a fucking killing and it knows it.

J+B your missing the very obvious, very pointy point.. Mr 'I have a MAC & work for LEGO' Believes he has the balls to charge us fuck loads of our hard earned money, he thinks that that a computer disk and a bit binary for a limited amount of time is the equivalent of an armada of AT-AT's then he must be smoking something powerful. it's the fact he has the cheek to stare us loyal FoL's who have gone well beyond the call of duty, us who have lost precious, blood, sleep and time for the hobby, and tell us to pay shit-loads of money for that, well he must have his head stuck so far up his ass that he can lick his own brain.james+burgundy wrote:Well there is a very simple option to this problem .. don't buy it

Back in days of yore I purchased at least one computer game per month at about $40-$50 per game. Some years I would buy 20 games.
20 x 45 = $900
12 x 45 = $540
When I played MMOs I never had much time to play single player games so I never bought them. Typical MMOs are $15/month
12 x15 = $180 ( I always paid per month)
So getting involved in an MMO actually saves you money!!
LU $10/mo x12 = $120/ year Its a bargain!

£30 is the cost of the pre-order edition with a mini-fig. but the £70 a year is the cost for a subscription, you only get 30 days with the disc as a 'trial', which is bullocks as you've spent £30.OneEye589 wrote:Yea, that's really not bad at all. I thought this was actually something important.
ALSO, this is the price for the special edition with the minifig and whatnot, correct?
