I built this on August 13 and haven't had a camera until now. Anyway, these are robots the janitor has built to assist him with his work.

It's also an oppourtunity for me to show off my Photoshop skills, as the original picture looks likethis.

That was the first thing I noticed.
Color corrected and cut out from the background, very nice work.

Just poking around with it.

In the Color Balance area
I reduced the red toward cyan
Increased the green
Increased the blue
Sharpen, fade 50%

I'm not an expert though, I need more practice. Probably a good tutorial would help me.

I'm not good with colour correction. I found the picture is really orange and your correction looks really good. However, I have two monitors with different colour settings (eek) and while your picture looks better on one monitor, mine looks way better on the other. I don't know which one to trust.

My vote is in favor of Tzan.

As I may or may not have stated, the better picture depends on your monitor's settings.

I also have 2 monitors.

Main: NEC 2190uxp a very expensive monitor that displays great color. It has an S-PVA panel type.

Second: Crappy Dell 19", no matter how much time you spend on it you will never be able to adjust it to display colors correctly. TN panel type. But its good for a second monitor.

Monitor color quality is all based on panel type.

When I was adjusting your image I used the color picker to display the color of the pixel it was over. I could see the red was higher than the others in the gray area of the bottom plate. I know that with gray all the numbers should be equal. So I used the ColorBalance panel to equalize those rbg numbers as best I could. So my monitor helped to see the true colors but I was going by the numbers while adjusting.

Of course most of the time you wont know what the color is supposed to be.

I have a BenQ V2400W (widescreen) that has a 24 inch 2 ms (g2g) TN panel.
and a LG L1970HR that has a 19 inch 2 ms (g2g) TN panel.

The 24" BenQ was my borther's before he got a new monitor, and I have no idea how to adjust the colours on it. It looks a bit green.
I've had the 19" LG for a while, and it's red compared with the other monitor.

I do image editing on the larger (greener) monitor, so that's probably why the extra red was in there. I should try to fix it somehow.

You could check the Benq site for drivers.
You might already have the correct ones installed.

nl219uxp.icm is the ICC Profile file that mine uses.
