I would have added 'In real LEGO', but that would have made the title too long. And yes, this is in real LEGO bricks. <i>My</i> real LEGO bricks.

First, we have an overview of the craft:


As you can see, it's not very big. Hence the 'scale just below micro'.

In this next picture, we see how much below micro this scale is. The two 1x1 round plates represent Minifigs, obviously wearing some sort of conspicuous gray suit.


They're the ones in the middle, under the invariably radioactive transparent neon-green grille.

Next is the 'possibly suicidal' bit. The [invariably explosive] transparent neon-green cylinders are where this thing gets its power from, and the engines are mounted in the middle. Here, in this audaciously clear picture, we see them off:

And if you're wondering, the spears are lasers.

What in the hell is that black slopey part at the front?

It's a black slopey part, used to transition from one horizontal face to another without sharp corners. It's also a pretty cool piece.

that, BoT, is one of my favorite slopies. it's stupidly shaped, but actually kicks ass.

and yes, i'd totally drive that. hell, i'd podrace if it was possible (which basically means "if we had purple magic lasers).

Damn. I've only started buying sets again just recently, so I get really confused by all these new, fancy slopes and whatnot.
Anywho, to steer back on track, I'd so drive that.

TELL ME ABOUT IT. i got really pissed at the bionicle shift and the massive influx of POOPs, but now there's a renaissance of parts coming through. some of those wierd pieces though (especially those ROUNDED SLOPES WTF), i still don't really understand.

Aye, I hear you. Pretty much the main reason I loved the Dwarf Mine was because it was all normal parts.

About 20 minutes ago I was looking at the front of my AT-RT's, and thinking "there is no way someone could ever use this piece on an MOC".

Apparently I was wrong.

That's a combination of Joergen V's drive to bring the company back to the basic brick, and the fact that they brought in Classic-Castle fans to help with the designs.

They did! That's how we got Knight's Kingdom. After that I think they learned their lesson.

That being said, couldn't you have added a control cluster of some kind in front of the pilot(s)? Ah dunno, seems kinda... >_> dull. Points with sticking with a main color, despite that color being a non-color. I've always found black shows up horribly in photographs, and try to use it as a secondary or misc color.
