For all you scardy-kats: this is made solely of LEGO.

early 2003 in college I decided to try this out, my buddy said "there's no way"; I said, I'll make it transform properly, even.

Lo and behold, I did it, it lasted 3 days before destroying it, without pics.

2 years later I wanted to re-create it. Again, "it won't look the same", me to him..."watch me"

Lo and behold, pictures this time.

At the same time I built it the first time I also created a 'Super Valkyrie" from Macross, and also a 37" wingsspan, very decent replica of B-2 Stelath Bomber, none of them had pics.

SO nNOW for the masterpeice of all my creation in time...

OPTIMUS PRIME: full scale to the original G1 die-cast model.

it always takes a while before other people will be able to see a brickshelf folder.

damn you! Proving me wrong again? *shakes fist*

Oh well, at least I still have the fact that the Super Valkyrie didn't transform into a robot (wait, did the legs fold down? I don't remember).

Still.... *shakes fist even more furiously*

Looks blocky, but points for transformation.

a little dissapointed because i misunderstood "full scale" to mean "the size of optimus freaking prime".

regardless, i totally have a nerd-rection right now. massive props for pulling this off.

Ossum sauce!! That's really sweet man. I'm sure that someone could have made it look better if it didn't transform. However, the fact that you pull that off, man. I envy your creativity.

You make me want to rip apart one of my mechs to create a better Prime.

Of course I won't do that because 1. too lazy and 2. who needs another reason?
