New Brickarms and Brickforge....

Post by Timedude » Mon Jun 30, 2008 7:19 am

I don't know how in tune you guys are with the Lego comunity at large, so I've been meaning to post this topic for a while.... I'm just exceptionally lazy. But anyway!

Image
Blurry, I know, but it's the best complete pic of Brickarms' Halo themed weaponry.

Image
And the other big pieces, made by their traditionally fantasy themed competitors: Brickforge. These are awesome as shown in the following pic, it's three seperate pieces: Helmet, visor, and body armor.

See?

The Brothers Brick Blog brought you this great pic. I think grey/silver was a Brickworld exclusive, but I'm not sure...

Brothers Brick Reviews new Brickforge, I'd guess a Brickarms review is on the way...

Enjoy!

Edit: The pics aren't working for me... What the hell? HTML and BBC code are both on... Anybody else having that problem?
Edit: Fixed.

I am too. You might try making sure the URLs in the tags are the actual URLs of the image, if it's on brickshelf click on the image as many times as you can until it appears by itself on the window.
I think those stats only apply to non-Mexicans.

the pics weren't working because there was some text behind the .jpg part

it should have been .jpg[/img] instead of .jpg?v=0[/img]

Act first, then think, then try to find a way to cover up the horrible mess you made.

Damn, I'm not a big fan of Halo, but I must admit this stuff is looking pretty bad-ass.

I'm in Bonn-o's postition. I've only played at my friends house, and I don't understand the people who worship Halo, but It's pretty fun. I know that the alien-looking guns are "Needlers".

The helmet and armor rock.

I seriously need to buy some of Brickarms' stuff.

It's not just Halo... Check out the Brother's Brick Blog link, they're reviewing all the new pieces by Brickforge. But I'll post some pics anyway...
Image
'Barbarian' with new shoulder armor pieces and trident and helmet...
Image
Gladiator with helmet, sword, and shield. The helmet is actually two piece, made up of the mask and the helmet, as shown here .
Image
My personal favorite, the Megagun, their personal attempt to upstart the always popular loudhauiler. Its got studs and attachment points all over it, so you can use it to maike all sorts of weapons in true lego style.

And, sadly, it looks like the Needler will not be available outside of Brickworld, as shown in this topic. However, the baseball bat will be!
Image
I know, it doesn't really compare, but you have to make do with what ya get...
