So at the sake of drawing fire from everyone for going back to the original topic.....
I showed Hobo Jr the sale and we ended up placing a $40 order between us.
Ok, back to your bad weather conversation.

I live next to a nuclear power plant. It'd be cool if that had a melt down.
This thread should be about disaster situations.

Inevitable zombie apocalypse discussion thread.
I find it interesting how short our [the USA's] attention span is concerning disasters. Haiti earthquake? Over in a week. Egypt rebellion? Off the mainpage in three days. Earthquake, tsunami, flood, and nuclear meltdown in Japan? Meh.

I was just talking about that today. For me it's also because I'm out of classes for the semester and I heard a lot through other students and teachers, but I haven't even seen much on news websites or heard about it on NPR or anything. Kinda sad.

Nope, not me. I enjoy building weapons myself. You never know what you'll end up with.

I moved the bulk of this over to its own thread so everyone could gaze in wonder:

It's like Silverdream is finally growing up! Look at him laying out the pissing-contest bait and slooowly reeling it in. It was kind of funny how he didn't know what to do with Asterios once he realized he had him hooked, so I just chopped the awkward finish and closed the thread on Zupponn's high note.
The B in socials thing was a nice idea to get back on the pissing contest track, but it was too obvious, too late. A subtler touch would have been more effective.
I couldn't tell how many of the rest of you were getting suckered in, and how many were just playing along to keep Asterios going, and how many thought they were in the latter group but were actually in the former, which is a good sign. But none of you seemed to be able to pull out any kind of coup de grace before I decided to call the game. Better luck next time.
