Well medieval armies need manpower, since they don't have all those fancy tanks.

Ok so let's start with a few questions:
1) How many of these guys do we think is in that Gallon Sized Zip Lock?
So if we look at the picture and see how many we can see, than let's say 150 just for the sake of this exersize OK?
2) What do they cost each?
So let's go look at Bricklink to get an idea of cost.
http://www.bricklink.com/catalogPG.asp?M=cas439
In the last six months the average price when bought in qty was $2.04 so let's round it down to $2.00 USD
Now we have a math problem:
150 x $2.00 = $300.00 USD
Now this is a guess, but even if we looked at what was for sale and we see in the link above there is a seller selling 200 for $180 each we still would end up with:
150 x $1.80 = $270.00 USD
Now this is just a wild guess based on a qty assumption but still.....
More money than I can spend in one buy on one day for knights.

Wonder if you get a discount for buying in bulk compared to the price per figure you see on Bricklink?
I don't even know where you'd find bags of figs and accessories like that.

yeah.... i havent seen any bricklink stores that would have anywhere near this quantity of the same parts of this type.... so this might be direct from TLC. you can buy shit-tons of stuff for really cheap from them... but you have to pay $1000 a year to get the right to do it.

So you do not think one seller selling 200+ of this figure qualifies?
Also....
Here is a seller with over 1000 of the Broad Brim helms:
http://www.bricklink.com/store.asp?p=da ... D=17543634
Here is a seller with 1500 of the Fixed Face helms:
http://www.bricklink.com/store.asp?p=Ch ... D=22087841
I could keep going but the point is, there are sellers on BrickLink who are selling large qty of these exact items. The real question is, why would I want 1,000 "extra" Broad Brim Helmets.
