If you were to buy Legos by the pound with just some pictures showing bags of random pieces... how much would you pay per pound?

I'm assuming they're actually genuine, and you're not going to get robbed- or worse- megablox!

It depends a lot on the contents. For just bricks I'd maybe pay $10-15 or so, but if it were minifigs I'd pay a lot more.

Pretty random stuff but yeah; I can tell it's genuine Lego. There were a few sneaky "Lego" lots that were obviously not Lego.

Some lots have what look like mostly bricks.

Other lots look like they are an aggregate of dismantled sets.

Hrm. Seems like a large scale version of the random minis. Mind sharing your source? I could use some bulk bricks.

Sometimes things show up in Craigslist by the pound.

Ah. Craiglist.

So... you are getting robbed?

I get my x-pound bags of Lego on eBay. I do occasionally get some clone brand stuff in there, but I always go through and remove them.
The only downside to this is that I have to clean the parts most of the time. The first bag I got was half-full of dirt.

What are you paying per pound? What do you consider a fair price per pound?

Which is heavier? A pound of Legos or a pound of dollar bills?

The way the dollar's depreciating, they're worth fewer pounds every day.

That's about what I pay. But I usually get mine in 2-pound bags.
