I felt like doing something with blue blocks. I never use any of the blue lying around.

Didn't really deserve a thread in the Armory, and it's a little bit :boxy: , but... eh, I'm fairly pleased with it.

Great name for it, too.

And it is here that I have to disagree with you, good sir. This is more than awesome enough for a thread in the Armory.

Sounds like someone has a Bricklink order to make.

Thanks for the praise, Mercat.

Several instances of NPU there. Great build.

Thanks! Although, I'm curious; which bits are the NPUs, in your opinion?

Also, Matt, if you actually want to make a few of these I can post a breakdown of how I built it. That goes for all of you. Lemme know, guys!

Looks great, I especially like the bridge. The bow section could use a bit more detail and shape, though.

Yeah, agreed. Like I said, it's a bit boxy, and that's mostly due to my lack of parts. I had some better ideas for the prow end, but didn't have the pieces to support them.

The phone + hand combo for that sort of bridge is a jewl and so are the legs used on the back. Lovely combination of shape here and there. I'm glad you used blue, it fits very well here, nice one Olly :)

The use of the hands, the use of the legs, the use of the phone, even the bow guns using the 1x2 bricks with the technic pin-stud pieces.

Boxy never really bothered me for military micro ships, since it only makes sense that something built to take a lot of punishment would have a very solid structural arrangement. You've got enough curves and angles thrown in to make things interesting,

Pity. This has some serious potential.

And, finally a shot of all of my "color" themed ships.

theblackdog: What would you suggest I do with the prow? I'm interested to know what the potential is in your mind. If I have the parts to support it without breaking the color scheme, I'll do it.

YES. More of this, please.

Re: the prow of your larger ship: My original idea was to replace some of the plain 1x1 bricks with 1x1 bricks with studs on the sides, and add greebles to them, then replace the flat tile on the nose with a cheese wedge piece.

After seeing your insanely awesome smaller frigate, I think you could also rebuild the nose section of your missile cruiser to look something like the front end of that ship -- but I'm not as sure how you'd go about doing it.
