Don't worry, I won't make a separate thread for everything. But I felt the Security Council deserved its own thread from the GA.



The Security Council is where the real business of the AN is done. It can deploy peacekeepers, impose sanctions, and condemn minifig rights violations. There are five permanent members which each have a veto power, and the remaining ten are (normally) elected to the position for two-year terms.

Here are the members:
Permanent Security Council Members: United Systems Alliance, Union of Soviet Socialist Space Republics, Brittannian League, Assyrian Star Empire, Scythian Empire

Rotating Security Council Members: Amorian Alliance, MAOX, Akkadian Empire of Ultra-Badassery, Silvarian Empire, Coalition of Ajax 4, Conglomerate of Salt Miners, United Peach Alliance, FELC, Stranians, Calvarian Empire

I understand most of them, but does the Conglomerate of Salt Miners have enough men to volunteer?

and wouldn't the Immortals be on the permanent one?

@Silva: I needed a puny nation as the real UNSC has quite a few African/South American countries.

@Runny: I'm assuming the AN was founded before the immortals arrived (at least in the brik-history), so adding them as a permanent member would require some changes to the D.I.C.K.

Also, I just noticed I screwed up the Salt Miners and Coalition delegates (I switch coalition for Caspians, and salt miners for Hammersmith) and have changed them to be correct.

You realize that it's an insult that the Immortal Empire is not on this council, in fact not a single permanent seat is held by a pro Immortal faction, these seats are filled with big players in the Anti-Immortal Alliance. This will not be tolerated.

Last time I checked, the Brittanians were with the Immortals.

Also: where is the Coalition Guy? our colors are mainly grey, black and green.

@Runny: I know I used the wrong delegate in the pic, but the actual coalition delegate I copied off from that admiral you posted one time.

In all seriousness though, yeah the Brittannians are pro-immortal and it only takes one veto to kill a resolution so really it’s not that bad. Also, I’m guessing the AN was founded before the immortal war so it wouldn’t have been an influence at that time. Besides, the peaches only have one seat, permanent or otherwise, so the immortals have it much better off.

Tell you guys something: this is only an interim security council. Come to think of it, you guys should decide who to put on the security council, just like the real one. Since USA, USSSR, and Brittannia are going to be on no matter what, here is the voting format:

First, list two countries that you think should be permanent members.

Then, list your top ten countries to be temporary, rotating members.

I will tally all the votes after some period of time and put in the respective delegates in lieu of the current one.

I’ll start the ball:

Permanent: Assyria, Scythia

Rotating: Trattoria, MAOX, FELC, Akkadians, Silvarians, Coalition, Stranians, Calvarian, UPA, Avalon

Hammersmith Empire deserves a seat, with one of the largest standing armies in the Brikverse, we aren't chumps. (I'd get pictures some day, but all my troopers are dis-assembled for another project)

Permanent: Immortal Empire 45th union

Rotating: same as Colette

Permanent: 2xImmortal Empire, if not then Akkadians as second vote.

Rotating: VOL, Praetorian Empire, TT Super Jews, Akkadian Empire, Tyronian Empire, Inquistadores, Hammersmith Empire, MAOX, Immortal Empire.

Permanent: Immortals, Assyrians
Rotating: I don't rightly give a damn.
