j+b, I'm going to share with you now something they teach you in art school about using text against a picture background. In order for it to work, the text has to be either lighter than everything behind it, or darker than everything behind it. If there are some parts lighter and some parts darker, it's really tough for the brain to pick out the patterns easily.
Also, the light/dark contrast between the text and the background has to be greater than the light/dark contrast between any part of the background and any other part of the background.
It's part of the reason your Ogel sig was successful and very readable while your Blitzen sig wasn't.

Hmm, I don't understand. Does that mean you never knew this fact, but have forgotten to show your surprise by using an exclamation mark? Or does it, as I believe, show that you did indeed know this fact and are attempting sarcasm but ultimately shot yourself in the foot when you went ahead and screwed the sig up anyway because being J+B that's just what you do best? Only asking.

Thanks man. only reason im such a noob is i don't have a camera(waiting till Manly Santa Day) and i failed at the first battle i tried to post. I'm big on lego history and old sets, thats the backup to ogel and such.
PS if you haven't noticed, the creature on the Sig's name is now Steve.

Making you barely twelve/thirteen years old? Ogel isn't vintage - that's was only 5 years ago! It's like wine - yes, Vintage Lego is like Vintage Wine!

Just remember which one is which now!

13. i was big on vintage cause i was brought up in the time of "SPECIAL FEATURES" which meant all shitty sets could be produced so long as they shot something or light up.
shudder.
i still have nightmares. however my neighbors had vintage and i loved the stuff. ogel was one of my favs, along with rock raids of what i knew.
i believe we have entered the age of "PRETTY" which means it doesn't matter piecewise, so long as it looks good. hey, at least its better than Special features.
